What is The Procedure of Placing a Crown?
It will take two appointments to complete the crown placement procedure. During the first appointment, Dr. Michael Yu Yeh or another associate will prepare the decay or damaged tooth by removing any decay in the tooth and then your dentist will make an impression of your tooth to create the permanent crown. You will receive a temporary crown while the permanent crowd is created at a laboratory. As soon as your new crown is ready, you will have your second appointment when the dentist will place, fit and cement your crown into place.
